Anaphylaxis Policy

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction affecting the entire body. One of the most common allergies involves peanuts and many other nuts. Some children have allergies so severe that even touching something that was touched before by someone who handled nuts or nut products could be fatal.

As part of the effort to make the school environment as safe as possible for all children, please note the following;

No peanuts, nuts, or nut products are to be brought anywhere on school property or on the school bus at any time.

Protecting the safety of anaphylactic children requires the co-operation of the whole school community, and anyone else who uses the school or the school bus.
